I'm Khizar. I run PickTrove on my own: the research, the writing, the photos, the lot.

Why this site exists

AliExpress has millions of listings and almost no way to tell the good from the junk. Most sites that claim to help are just lists of links with the manufacturer's own description pasted underneath. That helped nobody, including me.

So PickTrove does the boring part: narrowing thousands of options down to the few worth your money, and being honest about where they fall short.

How I choose things

• Real sales history first. I start from what people have actually bought and kept, not from what pays the most commission.
• Seller record matters as much as the product. A good item from a bad seller is a bad purchase.
• Delivery to the UK is part of the verdict. A brilliant product that takes nine weeks is not brilliant.
• Every write-up says who the product is wrong for.

Written for the UK

Prices default to pounds, delivery notes assume UK shipping, and spelling is British. You can switch currency in the header if you are reading from elsewhere.
