The price record

in pounds, my own readings

The record starts with the first reading I took: £6.90 on 16 Sept 2026. After that a point goes on only when a reading comes in 5% or more away from the one before it, and no reading since has been that far, so this fills in by itself the day the price moves. Nothing is missing.

Written about in

From a maker that sells under its own nameMagnetic car vent mounts, where half name a phone that has no magnets in itUntoom sells a catalogue under its own name, which on a shelf of anonymous listings is worth a little. Foldable, 360 degrees, adjustable. Its title names Xiaomi alongside MagSafe, so if your phone is not an iPhone read the note below about the metal plate before buying. Twenty magnetic air vent phone mounts. All twenty say MagSafe and ten of those also name a Samsung, Xiaomi or Huawei, which have no magnets in them. Not one mentions the metal plate that would make that work. Not one says which shape of vent it fits, and not one states a pull strength. Published 16 Sept 2026
