The price record

in pounds, my own readings

The record starts with the first reading I took: £1.69 on 13 Oct 2026. After that a point goes on only when a reading comes in 5% or more away from the one before it, and no reading since has been that far, so this fills in by itself the day the price moves. Nothing is missing.

Steel, bent to the case, and the ring turnsPhone lanyards, half of these are the patch without the cordFour steel patches with a ring that turns all the way round, which its own panel says stops the cord knotting, and a bend in the tab so it follows the edge of the case. Drawn at 49mm by 26.62mm, and its own photographs put it at 0.2mm thick on a caliper. In four colours. Patches only, no cord. Thirty four phone lanyards from one search and the order export: long cords for the neck or across the body, wide straps, short wrist loops, a coiled cord, and seventeen listings that sell only the patch, the tab that sits between the phone and its case. Six of the seventeen with a cord give a length. Anti-theft and anti-lost in the titles are the sellers' word, and the police advice a London council published on phone snatching says nothing about straps. Published 13 Oct 2026
