Written about in

If you need a long runLED strip lights, and the number that decides it is where you can cutTen metres on one reel from a maker that puts its name on it, at 24V, which is the sensible voltage for a long run because the drop along the strip is smaller. Its gallery also contains the clearest thing on this page: a photograph of COB beside SMD, so you can see the difference between a line of light and a row of dots before you choose. Needs a 24V driver. Twenty self adhesive strips. Everybody cuts these to length and not one of the twenty titles says where you are allowed to cut, yet the interval is printed in the photographs and runs from anywhere at all to once every ten centimetres. The shelf also mixes four incompatible voltages, one of which plugs straight into the wall. Published 21 Sept 2026
