The price record

in pounds, my own readings

The record starts with the first reading I took: £3.83 on 20 Sept 2026. After that a point goes on only when a reading comes in 5% or more away from the one before it, and no reading since has been that far, so this fills in by itself the day the price moves. Nothing is missing.

Best cheap 395nm, for things that glow easilyUV torches, seven say 365, seven say 395, and five never say at allTwelve LEDs, a waterproof body, and a size panel that puts it against an iPhone at about 93mm long. For highlighter ink, party paint, tonic water and anything else that fluoresces hard, 395nm is perfectly adequate and this is a tidy example of it. It runs on three AAA cells, which its own photo says are not included, so it is worth remembering that a rechargeable one nearby costs about the same. Twenty ultraviolet torches. The wavelength is the whole decision and for once most sellers print it, but five of the twenty leave it out and one claims both numbers at the same time. A single LED cannot do both. Here is what the two numbers change, and what the sellers' own photographs say about it. Published 20 Sept 2026
